These aventurine drop rose patterned lampwork glass beads are handmade in the Czech Republic.
They are worked over a flame which is supplied by natural gas to generate the heat required to melt the glass. Also known as paper weight beads because the beads have a rosebud against satin glass on each side, with a sprinkle of copper paste, known as "aventurina" and encased within a clear crystal dome.
Variations in colour and pattern is natural to the production process.
Their beauty, therefore, makes them a great choice for the focal point in your jewellery, or simply as an additional accent.
