Stringing Supplies

Stringing materials are the spine of your jewellery designs and beaded embellishments.

FLEXIBLE STAINLESS STEEL CABLE WIRE (TIGER TAIL)

A flex wire which consists of fine threads of steel wire covered in a thin layer of nylon, usually clear but can also be coloured.

Use beads with a standard small size hole, i.e, less than 0.8mm.

Secure using small round crimps which are squashed to secure a clasp.

LEATHER AND FAUX SUEDE

Use leather cord for stringing chunky beads and creating yoga wrap bracelets.

When stringing beads onto leather you will need to choose beads with a larger hole, i.e., 2-4mm.

Leather is available flat or round and in different thicknesses. Faux suede is availble as a flat cord and is a great eco vegan alternative to leather.

Finish off with a cord end which is squashed over the end of leather.

Leather Yoga Wrap Bracelet

HEMP

An eco alternative to synthetic cords, hemp cord or twine can be used to string or knot beads together.

SILK

A traditional stringing material gives your beaded necklaces a beautiful soft drape when knotted in between beads.
